- Grease 2 qt.
casserole.
- Melt butter in
large skillet.
- Add flour and
make a roux.
- Cook until golden
brown.
- Add garlic,
onions, pepper and seasonings.
- Cook until
tender, about 5-6 minutes.
- Add oysters with
liquid, lemon.
- Stir well.
- Cook about 2
minutes.
- Pour into
casserole.
- Sprinkle with
cracker or bread crumbs.
- Bake at 400
degrees for 20-25 minutes (or more).
