from Senora Maria Luisa Carillo de Padilla, Manager of the Hotel Acueducto
in Morelia.
Note says that add more spice to taste. |

Thick Loin Pork
Chops |
- Season chops with salt and pepper
- Fry in hot oil until nicely browned
- Remove from pan
- Saute onion and garlic, adding a little more oil
if needed.
- Stir in chili powder, oregano, cumin and water
- Return chops to pan
- Spoon sauce over chops
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes
- Stir in Vermouth just before serving.
