	| Quantity | 
	Ingredients | 
	
    Preparation Notes |

	 Cake  | 
	
    -   Cream butter and sugar together
 
    -   Add vanilla and orange rind
 
    -   Beat in eggs, one at a time
 
    -   Sift together flour, salt and baking powder
 
    -   Add flour mixture alternately with milk
 
    -   Spoon into greased & floured 10" tube pan
 
    -   Bake cake mixture for one hour at 350 degrees
 
    -   Make sauce while cake bakes
 
	-   Combining all in saucepan and cooking until sugar 
	dissolves.
 
	-   Cool in pan on rack for 2 minutes
 
    -   Pour hot sauce evenly over cake while cake is 
	still hot
 
	-   Allow cake to cool in pan thoroughly before 
	serving.
