Ginnie Goheen made this meatloaf and it was
always a family favorite. No actual measurements were ever used so the
measurements shown are approximate. Shape into the number and size of
loaves that you want. Freezes well. |

Ground Beef
(low fat content) |
- Put ground beef and eggs together in a large bowl.
- Crush crackers into clear glass bowl or measuring
cup.
- Pour in enough milk to not quite cover the
crackers, stir and set aside.
- Add other ingredients
- Once crackers have absorbed all of the milk, add
mixture to meat.
- Mix all ingredients together well.
- Shape into a loaf or loaves and bake for 45 minutes
at 350 degrees.
- If desired, garnish with bacon strips, mushrooms
or green pepper strips
- Mix topping ingredients together and coat top and
sides of meatloaf
- Return to the oven and bake another 15 minutes or
until meat thermometer shows beef well.
- Note - the size of the loaf will determine baking
time.
