	Shortening | 
	
    -   Cream shortening and sugars
 
    -   Add eggs and vanilla
 
    -   Add pineapple and juice
 
    -   Add soda, baking powder, and salt
 
    -   Mix in flour
 
    -   Add pecans
 
    -   Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet
 
    -   Bake at 350 degrees until slightly brown around 
    the edges and firm.
 
    -   Store in airtight container
